What is your billing policy?
East Keilor Clinic charges a fee for doctor consultations. We ask that all accounts be paid on the day. Payment can be made with either cash, credit cards or EFTPOS. Health care card holders, pensioners, Children age under 16 and Veterans Affairs card holders are bulk billed. Pensioners are given the option of paying a Gap Fee (non rebateable), however the Medicare cheque must be returned to the clinic when received. Children under the age of 16 years are bulk billed as are Veterans Affairs card holders. For more information about our fees, please speak to a receptionist.
In addition to the consultation, further costs may be incurred through investigations, procedures or treatments. Please also note that some doctor consultations are not Medicare rebateable such as Insurance medicals.
We can process your receipt online directly to Medicare for a speedy reimbursement. You have a choice of swiping your EFTPOS card for a direct deposit of the Medicare rebate (usually processed within 2 hours) You can still receive a cheque in the mail or go directly to your Medicare office for processing of your account.

How do I get my results from my tests?
Usually we require that you make an appointment to see the doctor to get your results. You can ring and speak with our nurse who will advise you if a doctor wishes to speak with you regarding your results. You may from time to time receive an SMS from us advising you to make an appointment to see the doctor to discuss you results. Please either click on the link to make an appointment or make an appointment on line through our website. It is important that you see your doctor for the results so you can obtain a full understanding of any changes that may be required to your medical care.
